ma's facility called. ma seemed to be having trouble breathing. They gave her oxygen and said she was doing better.
I waited till 9 to call her lung doctor. I waited 2 hours for him to call me back. Norm was waking up so I asked him to call me if they called me back. He called me before I got to her facility. She didn't seem to be in distress but she had labored breathing even with oxygen. And she was on her right side, tired, laying down, no energy, no desire to eat.
So I talked with the head of the nursing and called lung doc again. They said take her to the E.R.
Nursing said to take her by ambulance. The E.R. was busy so I grabbed a sandwich and waited. Then waited with ma. Finally got a room. Ma was pooped so I left and let her sleep. I ordered her a dinner.
Then I went to Spires and had dinner. (hubby doesn't eat till midnite or so).
Mentally exhausted.
